Triboelectricity

A large amount of heat causes nearby atoms to vibrate at high frequency, the electrons in the orbits of the atoms are accelerated, allowing their escape to other atoms of the other surface in contact, producing electrical charges, as is the case of the brakes of cars. This type of energy is known as triboelectricity.

Component Download

Component Download occurs when a charged conductor (Including the human body), performs an electrostatic discharge (ESD) on a sensitive electronic component. It is the most common cause of electrostatic damage. A very simple example is when walking electrostatic charges are generated which can be downloaded to any component.

Field Download

Electrostatic charge accumulates in the electronic device during handling or contact with packaging materials, work surfaces or machine surfaces.

It has been demonstrated that the electronic components become more sensitive when they are armed in automatic equipment, a device can be loaded by the same sliding inside the same assembler.

Field Sensitivity

By placing an electronic component in an electrostatically charged area, then an electrostatic charge is induced which can be eliminated by connecting the device to ground.
