Water repellency and polyurethane coatings (DWR and PU, respectively) offer best-in-class water resistance and durability. In combination with our other business units, Carolina Protect and Marina Coating, we can treat CORDURA® fabrics with fire-resistant (FR), PVC, and other special coatings.

They provide an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio and high durability for the most demanding applications. The micro laminates can be manufactured in a wide range of pattern combinations, solid colors, and specialized versions for customized applications.

Engineered with high tenacity nylon 6,6 multi-filament fiber that is solution dyed, locking the color in at the molten polymer extrusion level, CORDURA® TrueLock™ Fabric has excellent color fastness, UV-fade and abrasion resistance, extended UV strength stability, and long-lasting color. Compared to conventional level acid piece dyeing, the process used to make CORDURA® TrueLock™ Fabric uses less water, energy and creates fewer greenhouse gases.
